Update: not all consoles can read backup discs. All black consoles and all new white consoles have an updated DVD drive that will only read original discs. You can still order this service if you have a white Wii console and we can try it for you. If your white console cannot read backup discs, we can install the software to enable use of a USB hard drive instead, no hard drive will be supplied though.

Includes everything above in Softmod Standard and a pre-formatted USB hard drive. Games can be added/removed as required via the Wii or a PC. A user guide and PC software package is included to get you started. Hard drive is a very quiet 2.5” 250GB hard drive self powered via USB connection so no extra power cable for the drive is required.

• Once payment has been confirmed, we will send you an e-mail with the address you need to send your console to. Postage to us is not included. Please make sure your console is well packaged. You only need to send the console, no power or AV cables, controllers or sensor bar is required. Also make sure any SD cards are removed from the front slot.
• When we receive your console, you will get a confirmation e-mail from us and we'll get to work on it as soon as possible. If your console is not in working order we will not complete the service. All savegames and downloads will remain on the console and will be unaffected.
• Your console will be returned to you usually via Royal Mail Special Delivery and you will be sent another confirmation e-mail with the tracking number.

No modchip is installed during the process and your console is not opened at any time. Prices below include cost of SD card, hard drive (advanced only), installation fee and return postage to mainland UK.

Update: We cannot currently complete our service on firmware version 4.3. Before you place an order, check inside Wii Settings on your console. At the top right of the screen, you'll see your firmware version. 4.2E or below is fine, but 4.3E is impossible at the moment. If any other letter is shown after the numbers, such as U, J or K, your console is imported.

Opening, modifying the software or modifying hardware on your console will invalidate the warranty. We offer no additional or alternative warranty. Items are fully tested once the work is complete before your console is returned. The software we use is freely available on the Internet, we are charging for the installation service and not the software.
